Florida Bus Crash Injures Special Needs Kids

A close call in Sarasota, Florida, where a school bus ferrying special needs kids hits a pole.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

A school bus driver in Sarasota was forced to swerve out of the way of another vehicle which made a left turn in front of the bus. But the driver smashed into a utility pole, injuring the kids on board. Doctor Reuben Holland is with Sarasota Memorial Hospital where most of the injured were taken:

(Dr. Holland) “None of them had any surgical injuries that we could determine at this time. One has been discharged. And the remainder are being treated at this time.”

The bus was carrying special needs students. The bus driver and the bus attendant are husband and wife.
