More and more details are emerging about the decision-making leading up the President Trump’s order to attack a Syrian military base in response to that country’s use of sarin gas against civilians. The President continues his summit with Chinese leader Xi Jingping at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Palm Beach, FL:

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer tells reporters here in Florida that President Trump received at least four briefings from intelligence and defense officials in the lead-up to Thursday’s missile strike on Syria, and that all 59 tomahawk missiles deployed reached their targets.

The President also spoke with foreign leaders who all expressed support for staging the attack and that in response to critics that such an act is contrary to the President’s credo of “America First”, Spicer tells reporters U.S. security depends on curbing the use of chemical weapons.
