President Trump Disgusted with Syria’s Leader Bashar al-Assad

President Trump has landed in Florida, ahead of a planned two-day meeting with China’s President Xi Jinping. But overshadowing the meeting of the two world leaders is the continuing crisis in Syria, where hundreds are now reported dead following the use of chemical weapons on order of that nation’s ruler.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Palm Beach, Fla:

President Trump will spend time with China’s President Xi Jingping, but is also now considering a response to Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad’s use of chemical weapons against civilians, including children. The White House has not ruled out using force against him:

(President Trump) “I think what happened in Syria is a disgrace to humanity. And he’s there, and I guess he’s running things, so something should happen.”

Speaking aboard Air Force One while en route to Florida. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, also in Palm Beach, tells reporters there is no role in Syria’s future for Assad.
