Senate Intelligence Committee Pledges to “Get to the Bottom” of Russia’s Election Interference

As controversy surrounds a House investigation of Russian election meddling, leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee are pledging a thorough and bipartisan effort to get to the bottom of it.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

A day before it’s first public hearing on Russia’s election interference, a joint appearance by the top Republican and Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee:

(Burr) “Mark and I work hand in hand on this.”

Republican chairman Richard Burr says he and Democratic co-chair Mark Warner are partners to see the investigation through:

(Warner) “An outside foreign adversary effectively sought to hijack our most critical Democratic process, the election of a President.”

The committee is weeks away from finishing a review of thousands of intelligence documents. Burr calls the investigation one of the biggest the Hill has seen in his tenure here.
