Exactly how much money is North Carolina’s “Transgender Bathroom Bill” costing the state? One review puts the amount in the billions of dollars in the years to come.

North Carolina’s law demanding people use public restrooms according to birth gender has long been understood to have a negative economic impact on the state, as certain big businesses have opted to cancel expansion plans and both college and pro-sports leagues have reduced their presence in North Carolina too.
A study by the Associated Press says over the next 12 years, the state might lose on three-and three-quarter billion in business. The report comes as lawmakers in Texas consider a similar bill.
