Man Sues NY Bar, Claiming He was Kicked Out for Wearing Pro-Trump Gear

A man is suing a New York City bar after he says he was treated badly for wearing a hat supporting the President.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has details:

Greg Piatek from Philadelphia has filed a lawsuit against The Happiest Hour, it’s a New York City bar that he claims denied him service because he was wearing a hat supporting President Donald Trump.

The ‘New York Post‘ reports the man and his friends were initially served drinks at the bar on January 28, but he says once a bartender noticed his hat, which said “Make America Great Again”. He asked him if it was “a joke”.

He ordered a second round of drinks and says it was “slammed” down on the bar.

The suit also says a manager later asked him to leave, saying he was told by the bar owner that “anyone who supports Trump or believes what you believe is not welcome here”.

The bar didn’t give a comment to the Associated Press.
