House Budget Committee Signs Off on American Health Care Act

The Republican plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare clears another hurdle, but could still face some changes.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more on Capitol Hill:

The House Budget Committee signed off on the American Health Care Act, but not with unanimous Republican support. Three members of the House Freedom Caucus voted no:

(Ryan) “Clearly the main parts of this bill are gonna stay exactly as they are, but we’re making those improvements and refinements based upon the feedback we’re getting from our members.”

House Speaker Paul Ryan says President Trump is helping bridge gaps and negotiate potential changes to the bill.

But even with passage in the House, some Senate Republicans have warned the legislation is dead on arrival in that chamber.
