‘Lethal Weapon’ Actress Keesha Sharp’s Enjoyed Playing “Trish Murtaugh”

FOX’s Ashley Dvorkin catches up with one of the stars of the show ‘Lethal Weapon’ on FOX:

I’m Ashley Dvorkin with your FOX Celebrity Profile.

Actress Keesha Sharp is proud to play a character like “Trish Murtaugh” on the FOX series ‘Lethal Weapon’:

(Sharp) “I love that we see this woman who is a high powered defense attorney but is also a wife and mother and really good at everything she does, and she’s not perfect, but I love that we get to see this woman do it all.”

As the show heads towards its Season 1 finale March 15, she says viewers will get some answers which will set up what’s on the way:

(Sharp) “There’s been this arc that’s happening over the whole season and you’re going to see some answers to that and you’re going to also see where it leads. You’re not going to be able to wait for the second season to start.”

And when she’s not busy with her TV day job, Sharp has a big project on the way on the big screen in October:

(Sharp) “It’s called ‘Marshall’ and if anyone knows who Thurgood Marshall is, and most people should, he’s the first African-American Supreme Court Justice.”

She plays Marshall’s wife:

(Sharp) “I think people are going to enjoy it. It’s Oscar-worthy.”
