March Madness begins this week.

FOX's Jared Max has the details:

Three weeks from today, a national champion of college basketball will be crowned in Phoenix. Between now and then, more than 60 basketball games to be played. All single elimination contests, the winner moves on, the loser goes home.

This year, the NCAA selection committee made the Villanova Wildcats the tournaments overall No. 1 seed. Coach Jay Wright's team also the defending NCAA champions:

(Wright) "You're hungry, you're wide-eyed. Last year-this year, you're more business like, but people are coming after you and there's a lot of expectations around you."

Villanova coach Jay Wright will not know what team to prepare for until tomorrow night. 

Top seed of the West regional is Gonzaga, Kansas tops the Midwest, North Carolina the South. The brackets don't come into play until Thursday. Two tomorrow, two more Wednesday and then the field of 64 will be set.
