Senator Tim Kaine’s Son Arrested During Counterprotest of President Trump

    Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine’s son making headlines of his own.

    FOX’s Lilian Woo reports: 

    His father ran against the Trump presidential ticket, now Senator Tim Kaine’s son arrested after clashing with Trump supporters.

    It happened during a counterprotest of a Minnesota rally in support of the President Saturday. The 24-year-old was with four others, part of a group suspected of lighting fireworks inside the Minnesota state capitol, according to Saint Paul police.

    Kaine was apprehended a few blocks away and arresting officers reportedly had to use some force to take him into custody. The Senator and his wife in a statement saying, “We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current political issues”, also saying, “they fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully.”
