Minnesota Resident Isn’t Looking Forward to Alice Cooper Coming to Town

Alice Cooper is out on tour, but one resident of a Midwestern city he is headed towards isn’t looking forward to it.

FOX’s Laura Ingle has “Bonus Track”:

The hard rocking, theatrical loving, Alice Cooper is currently out tour, grinding out his hits for his fans, but apparently not everyone in Minnesota is looking forward to the volume of his show:

(Church) “Our windows rattle, our walls shake and this is just not right.”

That’s North Mankato resident Barb Church, addressing the City Council to protest the loud concerts that she claims ramp up to 110 decibels at times when hard rock and rap concerts play across the river from her community:

(Church) “I’m here to tell you, I think Alice Cooper’s going to be very similar to Hairball and Nelly.”

Suggesting to the City Council these acts should instead play the indoor arena in town and now Alice Cooper is responding:

(Cooper) “No more Mr. Nice Guy!”

Cooper released a statement saying 100 decibels sounds like a stretch, but he’d give her the benefit of the doubt, saying, “he’s a nice guy after all.” Offering to have his snake swim over some ear plugs, adding, “it’s the least he could do.”
