The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee says the FBI is holding back information to Congress about the Russian election interference investigation.

FOX's Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

After a three and a half hour meeting with the FBI director this week, the House Intelligence Committee's top Democrat Adam Schiff, accused the agency of refusing to give lawmakers answers to all their questions about Russia and last year's election:

(Schiff) "I would say at this point, we know less than a fraction of what the FBI knows."

The Republican chairman Devin Nunes says the Committee still doesn't have all the answers, but does not believe information is being withheld:

(Nunes) "It's not a matter of them being forthcoming, it's a matter of them providing us timely information when they can get it to us."

Nunes also says the committee has seen no evidence of contact between Russian officials and President Trump's campaign.
