VP Pence on President Trump’s Address: Had Moments of “Genuine Bipartisanship”
The Trump administration is sounding upbeat about the President’s speech before a joint session of Congress.
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Vice-President Mike Pence says the President is pleased with the response he got from Congress:
(Vice President Pence) ”There were a number of moments of genuine bipartisanship.”
Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz accused the President of pulling a “bait and switch”.
(Schultz) ”Thinks he can get away with telling complete falsehoods, lies and untruths and then expects to have credibility.”
The President is relatively quiet online, simply tweeting “Thank you”.
