Mitch McConnell: The American People are Counting on Us All

President Trump’s address to Congress called on bipartisan cooperation for a big agenda, but so far, Democrats say they need to see more.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

The day after President Trump’s first address to Congress, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell is challenging Democrats to meet the moment:

(McConnell) “Because the American people are counting on us all. They’re ready for a new start.”

Democrats sat silent as the President laid out much of his tax-cutting and border enforcement agenda and even on areas of potential cooperation, like trade and an infrastructure package:

(Schumer) “You can’t just talk the talk, Mr. President. You have to walk the walk.”

Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says Democrats haven’t seen any specifics from the White House.
