Schumer: President Trump Won’t Back Up Address with “Real Actions”

After a pre-speech meeting with President Trump at the White House, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters he’s looking forward to a positive, upbeat presentation:

(McConnell) “Then proceeding to our agenda, which is exactly the same as the Trump agenda.”

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer expects a campaign-style speech from the President:

(Schumer) “If past is prologue, the President will use populist rhetoric in his speech, but he won’t back it up with real actions.”

A prediction Schumer says, includes a the promise to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
