A major mistake in the 'Best Picture' announcement was among the most talked about moments at the 89th Annual Academy Awards.
FOX's Michelle Pollino reports from Los Angeles:
The most important award of the evening was the most controversial as 'La La Land' was told they won 'Best Picture', but then:
"Moonlight you guys won 'Best Picture'. This is not a joke, I'm afraid they read the wrong thing."
Actually they did not read the wrong thing, Price Waterhouse taking responsibility for the mix up in envelopes saying, "We sincerely apologize to 'Moonlight', 'La La Land', Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway and Oscar viewers for the error."
'La La Land' still lands the most awards of the night with six. 'Moonlight' three and 'Hasksaw Ridge' two and there was plenty of politics from host Jimmy Kimmel.
