The Trump administration revokes the transgender bathroom rules put into place by President Obama.

FOX's Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

An Obama administration guideline telling public schools to allow transgender students to use the bathroom and locker-room of their chosen gender identity revoked by the Trump administration:

(Spicer) "The President, as I said yesterday, is a firm believer in states' rights."

Press Secretary Sean Spicer says the last administration's guidance raised procedural and legal concerns. The Obama administration said those guidelines, which did not carry any force of law, were necessary to prevent discrimination.

Critics at the time, called it federal overreach.
