President Trump Expected to Issue Revised Travel Ban Plan

The Trump administration is getting ready to announce new immigration policies.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

The Homeland Security Department will reportedly roll out new guidelines aimed at aggressively detaining and deporting illegal immigrants, including hiring thousands of new enforcement agents.

President Trump is expected to issue a revised travel ban on the same predominantly Muslim nations he targeted in his original order.

New York Republican Congressman Peter King called the seven countries the “terror hotbeds of the world”:

(King) “It’s essential we get better vetting, that we do put a pause on immigration from those countries.”

The President’s new order, which is expected to also face legal challenges, would reportedly exempt green card and visa holders, and those with dual citizenship.
