Philadelphia Freedom? Not so Fast… One High School Says No Prom, Unless Outfits are Approved

A dress code for the prom has some parents and kids seeing red.

    FOX’s Anna Welles reports:

Students and their dates will have to get their outfits pre-approved by officials at Archbishop Ryan High School in the Philadelphia area before they can buy a ticket to the prom.

Parents are concerned that their daughters are required to send a full body photo in their gown to an email address monitored by some administration officials:

(Parent) “What happens to it after the fact? Who has access to this?”

Hundreds of students have signed a petition objecting to the dress code calling it degrading, arbitrary and unfair. The school is standing by its policy.
