President Trump Defends Retired Gen. Michael Flynn

Michael Flynn may no longer work for President Trump, but the President still defends him.

FOX’s Jon Decker has the details:

President Trump defended his former national security advisor, just two days after the President asked for and received Michael Flynn’s resignation.

The President alluded to the latest reports of ties between his presidential campaign and Russia – arguing the leaks from the intelligence community are trying to taint his electoral victory:

(President Trump) “People are trying to cover up for a terrible loss that the Democrats had under Hillary Clinton.”

The President said Flynn was treated “unfairly” by what he called the “fake media.” The President’s Press Secretary said the President had lost trust in Flynn.
