Foreigner Wants You to Tell Them What Love Is

Foreigner is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary.

FOX’s Laura Ingle has all the details in this “Bonus Track”:

It’s the 40 year anniversary of Foreigner and band members are ready to celebrate all year long:

“We’re doing a big summer tour with Cheap Trick and the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience. We’re also going to record and film with a symphony orchestra in Lucerne, Switzerland.”

That’s singer Kelly Hansen, who stopped by our studios this Valentine’s Day week with bassist Jeff Pilson. The group also working a promotion called “What Love Is”:

(Hansen) “So we want people to send a picture of a video to ForeignerWhatLoveIs.com.”

(Pilson) “G-Rated though please.”

(Ingle) “I was going to say, keep it clean people.”

The winner picks up airfare and tickets to a show in L.A. I asked these “Jukebox Heroes” what people would find most surprising about them. Hansen says he’s a wiz in the kitchen:

(Ingle) “So what do you like cook?”

(Hansen) “When I was home on break, I was working on souffle and the five mother sauces and just trying out different things.”

As for Pilson, he likes to follow politics:

(Pilson) “That and metaphysics. I’m a deep dude.”
