President Trump Regroups after Ninth Circuit Rejection
President Trump still dealing with a loss in court on immigration.
FOX’s Jon Decker reports from the White House:
Three judges on the Ninth Circuit rejected the government’s argument that courts have no authority to review an executive branch decision on immigration policy.
That brought an emphatic “SEE YOU COURT” response from the President on Twitter. And this answer to a reporter’s question:
(President Trump) “Our country is at stake and it’s a very, very serious situation. So we look forward to as I just said to seeing them in court.”
That could mean a DOJ request for the U.S. Supreme Court to hear the case. Alternatively, the White House may re-write the executive order, so it passes Constitutional scrutiny.
