YouTube Joining Live Streaming Action

YouTube ready for it’s live video close up.

FOX’s Krystin Goodwin has the details:

YouTube joining the live streaming action. The Google owned video site announcing Tuesday YouTubers will soon be able to go live from their phones.

YouTube already supports live streaming from a desktop computer, but will add a live button to its mobile app.

Using the network’s new ‘super chat’ feature, viewers will be able to talk to streamers during their live broadcast with comments, rivaling Facebook Live.

But unlike Facebook, Instagram and Periscope, popular YouTubers will be the first to take advantage of the service.

The site is only offering live video to YouTube channels with over 10,000 subscribers! But plans to offer this to everyone over the next few weeks.
