Ohio Clinic Falsely Diagnosed 50 People with Alzheimer’s, Lawsuits Filed

A class action suit against an Ohio doctor who’s patients say they were duped into thinking they had Alzheimer’s disease.

FOX’s Jeff Monosso reports:

More than 50 people are suing a now closed Toledo clinic and its director, saying that Sherry-Ann Jenkins lied and tricked them into thinking they had Alzheimer’s disease, that she didn’t have a license to practice medicine and that were over-billed.

Some say they spent nearly a year undergoing treatment, planned the future care of their children and began the long goodbyes to family members. One patient killed himself.

The suit also cites several groups of doctors who claim that Jenkins was diagnosing everyone with Alzheimer’s disease. Her lawyer hasn’t commented on the case that has yet to result in any charges.
