Treasury Department Hits Iran with More Sanctions

Iran has been hit with more sanctions.

FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

Following the President’s warning on Twitter that Iran is “playing with fire.” The Treasury Department imposed fresh sanctions on Tehran in a move aimed at punishing for country for its ballistic missile program.

13 individuals and 12 entities face new restrictions for supporting the missile program, having links to terrorism or providing support for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard. 

The Trump administration has taken a hard line on Iran, including banning its citizens from entering the U.S. For its part, Iran has urged the U.S. not to overreact to its tests of ballistic missiles.
