Pennsylvania's most famous groundhog makes a weather prediction.
FOX's Pam Puso has more:
Punxsutawney Phil dashing any hopes for an early Spring.
"I clearly see a perfect clear shadow of me. Six more weeks of winter it shall be."
In Gobblers Knob, Pennsylvania, Northeast of Pittsburgh, thousands waited for the furry rodent to emerge from his chilly burrow.
Ron Ploucha is one of Phil's handlers:
(Ploucha) "That's a science that I don't understand. I mean it's a mystery to all of us. But apparently he knows what he's doing. He's never wrong."
Records dating back to 1887 show Phil has predicted an early Spring just 18 times.
