President Trump Honors Fallen U.S. Navy SEAL
President Trump makes an unannounced trip to honor the returning remains of a U.S. Navy SEAL killed during a weekend raid in Yemen.
FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:
The President’s trip to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware was not on the official White House schedule.
The President along with his daughter, Ivanka, joined the family of Chief Special Warfare Operator William “Ryan” Owens for a private ceremony.
Owens, a 36-year-old from Peoria, Illinois, was the first known U.S. combat casualty since President Trump took office less than two weeks ago. Three other Americans were wounded in the operation, which was planned by former President Obama’s administration, but approved by President Trump.
