Budweiser Super Bowl Ad Gives a Nod to Immigration
Anheuser-Busch is making a statement with its new “Big Game” commercial.
FOX’s Michelle Pollino explains:
A new Budweiser Super Bowl ad by Anheuser-Busch is coming across with a very timely message. The commercial tells the tale of founder Adolphus Busch and his journey as an immigrant from Germany to America.
“Even though it happened in the 1850’s, it’s a story that is super-relevant today”:
(Budweiser) “Welcome to America! You’re not wanted here.”
That’s what Anheuser-Busch’s, Ricardo Marques told Adweek. However, he pointed out “there’s really no correlation with anything else that’s happening in the country.”
“This is a universal story that is very relevant today because probably more than any other period in history, today the world pulls you in different directions, And it’s never been harder to stick to your guns.”
