Ben Affleck Steps Away from Directing “The Batman”

Ben Affleck will now only do one job on the set of the new “Batman” movie.

FOX’s Jacquelyn Karl explains:

Ben Affleck’s decided starring and directing in the “Batman” movies is too much, saying in a statement yesterday, he won’t direct for the new Batman movie for Warner Bros.

Affleck revealing it’s “has become clear” he can’t handle the directing part of the gig, along with starring in the movie because Batman holds “a special place in the hearts of millions” and he owes it to give the best performance he can.

So he and the studio’s looking for a new director. Affleck made his debut as the super hero for the studio last summer in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.
