In intensive care former President George H.W. Bush has been released from a Houston hospital.

FOX's Gurnal Scott has the story:

The 92-year-old former President had been in the hospital since mid-January, being treated for complications of pneumonia.

A spokesman for the 41st President called the work of doctors and nurses at Houston Methodist Hospital "world-class care" and thanked the public on behalf of President Bush for all the well wishes he's received during his stay.

The former President's wife Barbara, who is 91, was also admitted and treated for bronchitis and exhaustion. She was released last week. Doctors at the time cited both Bush's advanced ages for their extended hospital stays.
