Online Petition Started to Name Pittsburgh International Airport after Mr. Rogers
There’s a petition to rename an airport after a favorite neighbor.
FOX’s Chris Foster reports:
Fred Rogers lived and died in Pittsburgh and made the kids’ show ‘Mr. Rogers Neighborhood’ there.
There’s a petition on the Change.org website with thousands of signatures to rename the Pittsburgh International Airport after him: Fred Rogers International Airport.
The creator of the petition writes for many people, the airport is their first experience in Pittsburgh. We wish to welcome everybody to our neighborhood.
