The Dow Jones had a historic day on Wednesday and some believe its success has to do with President Donald Trump's early campaign promises.
FOX's Victoria Craig has more:
The Dow's 20k milestone marks extra innings for the bull market's rally that's extended for almost eight years, said Mark Heppenstall, chief investment officer at Penn Mutual Asset Management.
He said the President Trump's proposals of lower taxes and less regulation are likely to support more U.S. growth and lead to higher corporate profits, while also boosting confidence.
Still, U.S. Bank Wealth management chief equity strategist Terry Sanven notes disappointing fourth-quarter earnings, rising geopolitical tensions, or slower progress toward the President Trump's policy initiatives could cause the market to pull back from record highs.
