Rod Stewart will be back on the road again, this time with an old friend, Cyndi Lauper.

(Stewart) “Hot legs!”

Rod Stewart just announced he’ll be strutting his stuff all across America this summer with one of his longtime friends, Cyndi Lauper:

(Lauper) “Oh girls just wanna have fun!”

This will be a co-headlining tour for Lauper and Stewart and its worth noting its not the first time the two have shared a stage. Rod and Cyndi first performed together at an aids project benefit in 1985 where they dueted on a three-song set that included “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” and Lauper’s hit “Time After Time”. The two have reportedly maintained a friendship since.

So will these two get on the same mic together again? The press release announcing the tour didn’t mention it, but with friendship and music on the road, history has a chance of repeating itself.
