DOJ Examining FBI’s Decision to Reopen Clinton Email Case Right Before Election

The Justice Department’s top watchdog will investigate Hillary Clinton’s October surprise.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

The Inspector General of the Justice Department will examine the FBI’s decision to reopen the Clinton email probe just days before the Presidential election, including whether the timing of the FBI’s letter to Congress and using Twitter to publicize the move was influenced by what’s described as “improper considerations”.

The review will also look into broad allegations of misconduct at the Justice Department and the FBI during the investigation into Clinton’s private email system when she was Secretary of State.
