Honda is recalling 772,000 additional Honda and Acura vehicles in the U.S. over defective Takata airbag inflators. It’s part of an expanded recall of 1.3 million vehicles over airbag inflators that can explode, sending shraple into a vehicle’s cabin.
The recall includes several different Honda and Acura models from various model years. Check your dealer.
More than 100 million vehicles involving 17 automakers have been recalled worldwide, including 69 million in the U.S. alone. The defect has led to 16 deaths and almost 200 injuries.
