Nokia Files Lawsuit Against Apple

    A copyright lawsuit is being filed against Apple alleging that he tech giant has stolen many technological innovations.

    Nokia is filing patent infringement suits in three German cities: Munich, Dusseldorf and Manheim. In the U.S., a suit is on the books in the eastern district of Texas. Within the last three years, Nokia has has expanded its patent portfolio with corporate acquisitions.

    Nokia says not since 2011 has Apple agreed to recognize any of Nokia’s registered innovations. The suit references 32 patents that cover technologies ranging from display, to video quality to user interface.

    Nokia says more lawsuits in other jurisdiction may be forthcoming. Apple has yet to formally respond to the lawsuit.
