President-elect Trump says this week's truck attack in Berlin was an attack on humanity.

FOX's Jared Halpern has more:

The President-elect briefly met with reporters outside his Mar-a-Lago home and was asked about an earlier statement characterizing the Berlin truck attack as a slaughter of Christians.

President-elect Trump answered:

(President-elect Trump) "It's an attack on humanity and it's got to be stopped."

The President-elect also said he spoke with President Obama earlier in the week, but has not since the Berlin attack.

Transition officials say President-elect Trump is being updated on the situation as part of the Presidential daily briefing and meetings with his national security team.
