CeeLo Green’s Not Dead, Apologizes for Video
One singer showing you can’t believe everything from the internet.
FOX’s Carley Shimkus has details:
Singer CeeLo Green proving you can’t believe everything you see online. Over the weekend, surveillance footage hit the internet that appears to show the singer getting knocked unconscious by an exploding cell phone.
The footage received 1/2 a million views and Green received an outpouring of support, but it turns out the whole thing was a hoax.
Green taking to Facebook to confirm he’s okay:
(Green) “Truthfully, I’m really upset that anybody had to be emotionally disturbed about what they saw today.”
The singer also saying the footage was supposed to set up a new character identity.
