Hillary Clinton Says Hack Was Payback

Hillary Clinton blames a long-standing beef with Russia’s President for the cyberattacks she says targeted her campaign.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

Speaking to donors, Hillary Clinton said Russian President Vladimir Putin was out to settle an old score by directing email hacks of her campaign chairman.

The New York Times obtained audio of the Clinton’s remarks and reports Clinton told supporters the Russians wanted to undermine our democracy because of Clinton’s criticism of Russia’s 2011 parliamentary elections.

Clinton also pointed to the release of FBI Director James Comey’s letter raising new questions about emails on her private server for costing her votes in swing-states.
