Petition Started to Name Next Navy Warship “USS The Deplorables”

    It’s not likely but a ship named “Deplorable” could one day be sailing the high seas for the U.S. Navy.

    FOX’s Tom Graham has details:

    Hillary Clinton’s infamous campaign jab at President-elect Donald Trump’s supporters could live on as a Navy warship:

    (Clinton) “You could put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.”

    Clinton later apologized for the comments but Mr. Trump’s supporters used the insult as a badge of honor. Many wearing t-shirts and carrying signs with the word “Deplorable.” 

    Now, a petition is gaining signatures on the White House website to have the Navy christen a ship “The USS Deplorable.” It needs 100,00 votes by January 3 of next year to get an official response from the Obama Administration.
