Mr. Trump Backs Choice of Rex Tillerson: “Made Some of the Greatest Deals Ever Made”
President-elect Donald Trump praised his choice for Secretary of State at a victory rally last night in Wisconsin.
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Mr. Trump called ExxonMobile CEO Rex Tillerson one of the greatest and most skilled global business leaders of our time:
(President-elect Trump) “Made some of the greatest deals ever made in the oil industry or any industry.”
This, as after some prominent Republicans expressed concerns about Tillerson’s ties with Russia:
(President-elect Trump) “Rex will be a fierce advocate for America’s interests around the world.”
The Trump Transition team has officially announced former Texas Governor Rick Perry will be nominated to lead the Energy Department. Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke, a former Navy seal, is reportedly Mr. Trump’s choice for Interior Secretary.
