President Obama Appears on “The Daily Show”

    President Obama welcomes Comedy Central to the White House.

    FOX’s Rich Denison reports:

    President Obama covering a range of topics in his appearance last night on Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show with Trevor Noah’, including the importance of daily intelligence briefings:

    (President Obama) “If you’re not getting their perspective, their detailed perspective, then you are flying blind.”

    President-elect Trump has rejected the daily briefings, saying he doesn’t need to be told the same thing every day.

    Mr. Obama says he’ll give the new administration space after leaving office, but might speak up if he sees constitutional issues arise, such as a Muslim registry:

    (President Obama) “I might have to say something about that.”

    During the half-hour interview taped at the White House, President Obama also discussed Russian hacking, race relations and the future of ObamaCare.
