Harry Reid’s Farewell to the Senate

The leader of Senate Democrats for the last dozen years is bidding farewell to Congress.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

For more than an hour, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid recalled his life that started in Searchlight, Nevada, and led to a 34-year career in Congress:

(Reid) “I’ve had such joy and times of ‘oh wow, what are we gonna do now?’ That’s what these jobs are like.”

Reid says he’s served with 281 different Senators and employed about 3,000 staffers during his time here.

In his final floor speech, the Democratic leader offered advice, warning about over-use of the filibuster and campaign finance.
