Vice President Joe Biden Honored by the Senate

    In what’s expected to be the final days of the 114th Congress, a tribute to the Vice President’s time in the Senate.

    One after another, Senators who served with Vice President Biden lined up to tease and pay tribute:

    (McConnell) “Good news for the rest of us, because he has to let everyone else talk.”

    Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell calls the Vice President a real friend and a trusted partner. Outgoing Minority Leader Harry Reid says Biden’s life is the material of which movies are made:

    (Reid) “Senator Biden, Vice President Biden. Joe. He is an awe-inspiring man.”

    Before serving serving as Vice President and President of the Senate. Biden was a Senator for 36 years, first elected at the age of 29.
