House Republicans Map Out Strategy to Tackle ObamaCare

House Republicans are figuring out the best way to move fast on repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more on Capitol Hill:

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy isn’t putting a time line on scrapping the Affordable Care Act, but told reporters here he envisions a transition period between repeal and replace.

McCarthy says House Republicans will look at alternatives already floated as a starting point for replacement.

Georgia Republican Tom Price, President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for Health and Human Services Secretary has long opposed the Affordable Care Act. He’s pushed an alternative that includes tax credits to help offset health insurance polices, expand health savings accounts and allow insurers to sell policies across state lines.
