Green Party Candidate Jill Stein Raises Money for Recount in Battleground States
Green party Presidential nominee Jill Stein is raising money online to pay for recounts in three states.
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
It took just over 24 hour hours for Stein to raise more than four-million-dollars to go towards recount efforts in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.
Stein is questioning the results in the battleground states, which helped propel President-elect Donald Trump to victory.
She admits she has no “smoking gun”, but says the election was colored by threats of hacking. The deadline for a recount has already passed in Pennsylvania, where money raised would help pay for a court challenge.
