Millions of Americans grew up with her.

(The Brady Bunch) “Here’s a story of a lovely lady…”

Florence Henderson, who played the beloved mom on “The Brady Bunch”, has died in Los Angeles. She was 82.

(The Brady Bunch) “I don’t hear anything. What’s a matter with that? Six kids and no noise, that’s what’s a matter with that.”

The hit sitcom about a single mother with three daughters who married a single father with three sons first aired in 1969. It was followed by a series of spinoffs and endless re-reruns.

Henderson, who began her career on Broadway had suffered from heart failure, according to her manager, who says she was surrounded by family and friends when she died on Thanksgiving night.
