Cyber-Friday? Walmart Starts Online Sale Early

    A retailing giant hoping to get ahead of the competition for holiday shoppers.

    Hoping to get a jump on the competition, Walmart is kicking of Cyber-Monday deals early Friday morning. Cyber-Monday, the Monday after Thanksgiving, usually considered to be the year’s busiest day for online shopping.

    Walmart announcing it’s offering its Cyber-Monday deals at 12:01 Friday morning. For those who want to visit brick and mortar stores, many retailers will open on Thanksgiving Day to officially kick off the holiday shopping season.

    Officials with Walmart hope the move helps the company better compete with online-sales leader Amazon.com.
