President-elect Trump: Stop Harassing Minorities

Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus will serve as President-elect Donald Trump’s chief of staff and former campaign CEO Stephen Bannon, formerly of Breitbart News, will be chief strategist senior counselor.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

The Anti-Defamation League expressed outrage over Steven Bannon’s selection, calling it a “sad day”. Reince Priebus defended the Bannon pick on FOX News:

(Priebus) ”He was a force for good on the campaign. He’s very wise and smart.”

Meanwhile, people are still protesting the election. The President-elect told CBS “60 Minutes” protesters should not be be afraid and had a message for supporters who are reportedly harassing minorities:

(President-elect Trump) “Stop it, if it helps. I will say this, and I’ll say it right to the camera. Stop it.”

Mr. Trump also said he would not appoint Supreme Court justices who would reverse same-sex marriage, saying it’s already settled law.
