Christie Replaced by Pence as Transition Leader
Donald Trump’s transition team, has a new leader, Vice President-elect Mike Pence.
FOX’s Jared Halpern reports:
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had been leading the transition effort, but the President-elect’s office now says the Vice President-elect will chair the Presidential Transition Team.
Christie, along with other top campaign supporters and staff-like former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, retired General Michael Flynn and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will join the transition team’s vice chairs.
Others on the transition team include several Republican lawmakers, RNC chairman Reince Priebus and the President-elect’s adult children Don Jr., Eric and Ivanka.
